Noise Concerns is Dan Sasaki (percussion) and Stephanie Lavon Trotter (electro-acoustic voice) who create out-of-this-world sonic landscapesthrough free-improvisation and open scores bringing together their shared experiences in experimental noise, free-improv, Opera, and performance art.

uneasy trio is comprised of Justin Smith (viola, bass, electronics), Annie Gilbert (voice, trombone) and Stephanie Lavon Trotter (voice). Together they improvise and explore their unique timbral grouping. They play with their improvisations in amplified multiplicities, and various resonant spaces. uneasy trio is based in Portland, OR.

improvised sound collective began as a graduate school practicum project in February 2013 and continues as a practice in collecting, curating, exploring Space(s), using improvised Soundings to experience the communities around us.
Using collectively decided constraints and/or compositions, we improvise. The ensemble, led by Stephanie Lavon Trotter, leaves Space for understanding Improvisation, Composition, Performance, and Place, from the myriad musical (and non-musical) backgrounds of members.
